Lukaku scores against Leverkusen and sets a Europa League record

With his goal against the Germans, the Inter striker became the first player to score in nine consecutive games in European competition.

Romelu lukaku was scored on the scoreboard this Monday in the clash between Inter and Bayer Leverkusen for the quarterfinals of the Europa League.

Thus, the Belgian forward became the first player to score in nine consecutive games in the second most important club competition on the old continent.

Lukaku had equaled Alan Shearer’s mark with his goal against Getafe last week.
