Renzo Olivo is scheduled to play the Challenger 100 in Todi, in Italy, where men’s tennis will begin on August 17. “I have been training for more than two months, I am physically prepared. Mentally, games are required to regain confidence and gain rhythm,” the Rosario told ESPN Tennis.
“I have been training and feeling good. The issue of expectations is difficult after standing for so long. We are all in the same,” explained the 209th world champion and Davis Cup champion in 2016.
Olivo’s goal in the medium term is to get into Roland Garros (September 27): “It would give me great confidence to have good results. Add games”.
In Todi’s box there are six Top 100 in his box: Federico Delbonis (champion in 2017), Roberto Carballes Baena, Gianluca Mager, Andreas Seppi, Stefano Travaglia and Salvatore Caruso. Besides Olivo and Delbonis, Facundo Bagnis also appears in Todi’s main draw.
