The Los Angeles quintet prevailed 124-121 in a tight and exciting matchup and snapped a run of three knockdowns in a line.
While the Lakers had already secured first place in the Western Conference, and incidentally his ticket to the postseason, the last losses, three in total, had thoughtful Frank Vogel ahead of the playoffs NBA. However, this Monday, his team broke that bad streak, beat 124-121 to the Nuggets and regained the path of victory.
The figure of the night was Kyle Kuzma, who with a triple when the clock ran out saved what would have been the fourth consecutive knockdown for one of the best franchises this season.
With LeBron James marked, the Lakers’ rotation ended on Kuzma, who with the pulse of a surgeon sent her to the basket from the perimeter before it was all over. Good triumph that now raises the morale of a quintet that will end its regular season against the Kings.
For their part, the Nuggets maintain the third box in the West and avoid, in the first round of the postseason, the two Los Angeles teams, the strongest so far this tournament.
