This is stated by the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, which says that the former Milan footballer will receive a contract extension until 2023 (he had a link until June 2021), despite being out of the Champions League last week.
With Gattuso at the helm, the southern Italian team won their first trophy in six years after lifting the Italian Cup. On the international level, those from Naples advanced to the direct qualifying phase of the Champions League but could not defeat Messi’s Barcelona in the round of 16.
