The Big Apple’s ninth won 10-3 with a great performance from Latin Americans, including Colombian Giovanny Urshela.
This Friday, the Latin Americans were in charge of leading the victory of the Yankees over the Red Sox in a new day of the MLB. The ninth of New York had the Venezuelan Gleiber Torres and the colombian Giovanny Urshela like their greats in the 10-3 win over their historic rivals.
Torres doubled for the Yankees to add their first two streaks and Urshela passed once at the plate to complete what was a perfect night at bat.
It was also from the mound, as Gerrit Cole added his 20th win in a row, thus becoming the sixth pitcher to achieve that mark. In fact, the powerful pitcher has not known what it is to lose a game, when he is the starter, since May 2019.
As it is, the Yankees continue to lead the American League East Division with a 13-6 record, while the Red Sox are last in this same area.
The most important classic in the Major Leagues will be repeated this Saturday and also on Sunday.
