The Olympic institution released a statement this Sunday in which it assured that there are suspicions about three members of the team that they would have Covid-19.
In the absence of a few days to the start of the League 1, Olympique de Marseille reported bad news this Sunday. And, according to the entity’s statement, three suspected cases of Covid-19 were detected on the campus.
“Olympique de Marseille has just learned that three new suspected cases of coronavirus have been detected in its professional staff. If these cases were confirmed, they would bring this number to four cases in the last four days,” the club said in the official publication.
In any case, the Olympic team assured that the Professional Football League had already been warned about this situation at the start of the tournament.
It should be remembered that Marseille will kick off the start of the championship in its duel against Saint-Étienne as local, on August 21.
