The Pumas closed their first week of training at Maschwitz

With the presence of the players from Tucumán and Santiago del Estero, the team led by Mario Ledesma culminated the first week of training sessions on the grounds of the Argentine Rugby Union in the town of Maschwitz.

As indicated by the mandatory, preventive and social isolation protocol, the group that joined today underwent serological tests, with negative results in all cases. They then did regenerative exercises.

In this way, all those summoned by the technical staff of the National Team were at the disposal of the physical trainers, for this return to practice at Casa Pumas. As indicated by the routine these days, the three subgroups of each shift (morning and afternoon) rotated in gym, mobility skills and aerobic endurance. Always respecting the strict rules of hygiene, safety and distance.

For its part, the Argentine team will resume training next Monday, also at the same venue.

“The truth is that I am very happy to return, train, be in a new squad, to step on a field after so many months. That makes me very happy, ”said Juan Cruz Mallía.

In addition, the Cordovan added: “In a normal year, we share a lot of things, we spend practically the whole day together, on tour and that generates very strong ties. And after so many months without seeing each other, despite being in contact by video calls, it was not the same, and that is why meeting us again, beyond social distance, was something very nice. We are all with the same expectations of what can be left in the competition for this year ”.
