The citizen club reported that the Chilean goalkeeper will leave the squad after four seasons.
Manchester City confirmed that Claudio Bravo leaves the club after his contract expires. The Chilean goalkeeper, 37, signed from Barcelona in 2016 after two years with the Blaugrana cast and lived years of success in England.
His arrival at the Citizens came shortly after Pep Guardiola took over as coach, which helped establish the philosophy of ball possession that the Catalan promotes.
Guardiola took advantage of the South American footballer’s abilities, specifically his ability with his feet, different from those of the previous goalkeeper, Joe Hart. The Buin-born even recorded 30 appearances in all competitions in his debut season.
Bravo’s chances of finding continuity on the pitch faded and he acted as a substitute for Ederson, who came to the Premier League from Benfica in 2017. The Chilean is leaving after winning two English league titles and two EFL Cup titles. .
Although his next destination is uncertain, the goalkeeper was linked to Celtic of Scotland and Real Betis, the latter who have just presented the Chilean Manuel Pellegrini for next season.
Thank you, @ C1audioBravo
