Robinson Cano commanded the Mets' win over the Marlins

The Dominican player hit two home runs in New York’s 11-4 victory in the ninth.

It was the perfect night for Robinson Cano and, therefore, for Mets who beat 11-4 Marlins on a new day of the MLB. The Dominican player took her out of the park on two occasions and, in addition, connected a single that drove his team in what was the tenth victory of the season.

Thus, Cano raised his batting average to .412 (four RBIs and three runs scored) and is one of the most regular players on an irregular team looking to take off in the NL East Division.

Another who had a great performance was Pete Alonso, who also added two homers and gave a hand for Franklyn Kilome to add another positive start. On the side of the Marlins, Jonathan Villar also hit a home run to make the loss of his ninth more decorous.

This was the first of a series agreed to four games and before the Mets meet in the classic of the Big Apple with the Yankees, so far the most consistent franchise of the season.

Other matches of the day:

Blue Jays 7-2 Orioles

Red Sox 3-6 Yankees

Cubs 5-4 Cardinals

Tigers 2-7 White Sox

Royals 1-4 Twins

Parents 14-4 Rangers

Rockies 1-2 Astros

Athletics 3-4 Diamondbacks

Giants 6-7 Angels

Mariners 9-11 Dodgers
