The Venezuelan second baseman scored two runs in the Cleveland team’s victory over the Pirates, to stay in the fight to lead in his division.
Cleveland Indians remains in the fight for leadership in the AL Central division, currently in the hands of the Twins, after winning a 6-3 victory over Pittsburgh Pirates during Tuesday’s action day at the MLB.
During their visit to PNC Park in Pennsylvania, the cast from Ohio had the contribution of Venezuelan César Hernández, author of two races in which he represented the fourth victory in a row. The Valencia-born second baseman benefited from the tasks of Puerto Rican Francisco Lindor and prominent Dominican Carlos Santana, the protagonist of a formidable home run.

For Santana it was the second home run this season that started late because of the pandemic, to demonstrate the importance within a team that reaches a mark of 14 wins and 9 losses, two hits behind Minnesota.
