After having problems in the front row due to various injuries in recent weeks, Benetton Treviso turned to Thomas Gallo, who has everything arranged to play for the team that competes in Pro14.
From the beginning, the Italian club was very interested in the Tucuman left pillar who was born in 1999 and who stood out with Los Pumitas in the Youth World Cup that was played in Argentina last year, especially with that remembered try that he did to France, with a spectacular run.
In that competition, in addition, Gallo played all the matches of the Argentine national team, starting in three. The concrete thing is that, unfortunately, the Italian team lost in a few days Federico Zani (cruciate ligament injury), Matteo Drudi (cruciate ligament rupture) and Derrick Appiah (left pectoral tendon rupture). And although details still remain, everything indicates that in the next few hours the transfer will become official and that on September 1, the Tucuman will be with his new companions.
At his next destination, Thomas will meet his compatriots Ignacio Brex, Tomás Baravalle, Joaquín Riera and Iván Nemer, another of Benetton’s brand-new additions.
