Bayern Munich prevailed in 1976 against Saint Ettiene, in Glasgow, in the definition of the European Cup.
Germany and France will have their representatives in a final of Champions for the second time in history, with the definition they will have Bayern Munich and PSG on Sunday August 23 at Lisbon Portugal.
The previous antecedent has the Bavarian team as the protagonist, in the 1976 edition played in Glasgow, Scotland, in the 1-0 victory against Saint Ettiene with a goal from the legendary Franz Roth.
Bayern won the continental trophy for the third time in a row against a French team that had just eliminated Dutch PSV, while the Germans took on nothing less than Real Madrid.
The champion team featured the backbone of the 1974 World Cup-winning Germany team: goalkeeper Sepp Maier, Franz Beckenbauer and scorer Gerard Muller.
