Were they sleepy? Two submissions in a row at the Dana White's Contender Series

The sixth episode of the new season of Dana White´s Conteder Series It happened this Tuesday, the one that left great submissions. He had the same on September 8, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The broadcast was hosted by ESPN +, which went live at 8 p.m. ET. In this way, and as expected, the first battles were something to talk about. It all started with two submissions in a row, which greatly attracted the attention of the “boss.”

Of the best submissions

Aliaskhab Khizriev He can be a noisy welterweight in the UFC, so he was the best overall prospect on the main card. The 30-year-old Russian has been more dominant since he began his MMA career in 2014. This time he collided with Henrique Shiguemoto in the first match of the Dana White’s Contender Series, where he could show the best of himself. In just forty seconds, his rival could not do more than tap and wait for a new opportunity.

Bantamweight always have great displays, and the fight between Mana Martínez and Drako Rodriguez not far behind, even by the standards of UFC. They both shot hard and hard. Martinez is a knockout machine and that’s what he looked for, but his opponent was more attentive and was able to add the second of two great submissions. Rodríguez, for his part, is an aggressive spiker who hit very hard. Anyway, everything came by way of submission, when he was able to get a lethal triangle in just over a minute.
