Chimy Ávila suffered cruciate ligament rupture again

The medical tests to which the Argentine striker from Osasuna Chimy Ávila was subjected after retiring injured from training this morning confirmed the worst omens, since the player presents a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, the club reported.

Ávila was examined at the University of Navarra Clinic and will soon have to undergo surgery.

The Argentine footballer was preparing to return to official competition after recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee that kept him away from the pitch since January.
