Leeds United confirmed this Friday the renewal of Argentine Marcelo Bielsa for one more year, so he will continue to be the coach of the English team during the season that starts this Saturday.
Bielsa had already advanced the agreement at a press conference, just two days before the ‘Whites’ face Liverpool at Anfield.
Now it is official that the Argentine coach will stay one more season at Elland Road, after arriving in 2018 and achieving promotion to the Premier League, after a 16-year absence, last season.
According to data provided by the club, Bielsa has directed a total of 100 games for Leeds, winning 56, drawing 17 and losing 27.
Last season, the promotion season, the club won the Championship title (English Second Division) by a margin of ten points.
