José Mourinho, Tottenham Hotspur coach, has demanded the signing of a forward to the club, to be able to accompany Harry Kane at the attack point.
The Portuguese was clear at a press conference where he assured that he needs a striker to strengthen the team.
“I want him, I need a striker, but I want it to be very clear that the club knows it and they want it too,” said Mourinho.
“Are we going to sign one? I think so, I sincerely believe it. The team needs balance in the squad,” he added.
This forward would accompany the aforementioned Kane, Heung-min Son, Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn upstairs.
“I know we have one of the best forwards in the world. The best striker in England, but I don’t like to talk about the word substitute. A team is a team. A striker who comes can play with Harry and not just be a substitute.” explained the Portuguese technician.
