Federico Martínez is about to become the second incorporation of Independiente, who would take advantage of Rosario Central’s debt with Liverpool of Uruguay, owner of the end pass.
El Canalla had to pay four installments for Martínez’s pass, but he still did not pay any (he should have already sent the money for the first two) and this opened the doors to the interest of the footballer, who already showed his interest in joining Rojo.
The federative rights belong to Central, but the same does not happen with the pass yet, since there was no payment. For that reason, Liverpool began to negotiate with Independiente.
“Let’s hope he can play for Independiente,” said Martínez, for which Rojo would pay $ 800,000 to keep 30% of the chip. Something similar had agreed the Uruguayan institution with the Canalla.
In order not to have problems with FIFA, Central should pay 500 thousand dollars, but now there is already a position taken by the player himself and the situation seems to have no turning back. “Let’s hope the negotiation is done and I can play for Independiente. It is a big club in South America. I am going to leave everything and I hope to have many nice things with the club if the pass is given, ”said the Uruguayan on Monday.
“Much progress has been made in the negotiation, but I still don’t know if my termination with Central has been closed. My move to Independiente is a feeling of joy and motivation. I feel like I’m taking one more step in my career. I’m really looking forward to playing an international tournament like in this case the Copa Sudamericana (with Independiente). For a player, international cups are very motivating ”, concluded Martínez.
