Champions Cup: days and times for the semifinals

The EPRC announced the way in which the semifinal of the Champions Cup will be played, matches that will be played on Saturday, September 26 at 9 and 11:30 a.m., after this weekend the quarter-final matches are defined. In the same sense, the semis of the Chanllenge Cup will be defined on Friday 25 and Saturday 26.

The meeting in the semifinals will be between the winner of the match between Leinster-Saracens against the one that wins between Clermont-Racing 92. Also on Saturday 26 September, the winners of Exeter-Northampton and Toulouse-Ulster will meet.

Here are the scenarios presented

Semifinal 1

If Leinster Rugby (ranked # 1) and ASM Clermont Auvergne (ranked # 4) each win their quarter-finals, then Leinster will play home.

If Leinster Rugby (No. 1) and Racing 92 (No. 5) each win their quarter-finals, then Leinster will play home.

If Clermont (No. 4) and Saracens (No. 8) each win their quarter-finals, then Clermont will play home.

If Racing 92 (ranked # 5) and Saracens (ranked # 8) each win their quarter-finals, Racing will play home.

Semifinal 2

If Exeter (No. 2) and Toulouse (No. 3) each win their quarter-finals, then Exeter will play at home.

If Exeter Chiefs (No. 2) and Ulster Rugby (No. 6) each win their quarter-finals, then Exeter will play at home.

If Toulouse (number 3) and Northampton Saints (number 7) each win their quarter-finals, then Toulouse will play at home.

If Ulster Rugby (No. 6) and Northampton Saints (No. 7) each win their quarter-finals, then Ulster will play at home.

Refering to Challenge Cup, the quarterfinal winners Bristol – Dragons and Bordeaux-Bègles -Edimbourg, will meet on Friday 25 September, at 3:45 pm; The winners of Toulon – Scarlets and Leicester-Castres will challenge each other on Saturday, September 26 at 4:00 p.m.

If RC Toulon (No. 1 in the position) and Leicester Tigers (No. 4 in the position) each win their quarter-finals, Toulon will play at home.

If Toulon (number 1) and Castres Olympique (number 5) each win their quarter-finals, Toulon will play at home.
