This weekend a new date of the WRC (World Rally Championship). This time it was Turkey’s turn. The British Elfyn evans, aboard his Toyota, took the victory after the abandonment of Sébastien Ogier, who had been leading the test with comfort.

After the victory, Evans was placed at the top of the championship with two dates remaining on the end of a rare calendar, which had to be restructured after the coronavirus pandemic. This Sunday the last part of the rally took place, with impressive views of the landscapes of each country that visits the category.

Behind Evans, the Belgian was placed Thierry Neuville, with Hyundai. While in third place finished the stainless Sebastien loeb, also with Hyundai. The end of the test was a heart attack, as Evans took advantage of the problems of his rivals, to take an unexpected victory.

Both Neuville and Loeb had a puncture in the final stage of the race, which caused them to lose a lot of time. For his part, the Briton overtook both and won the test. The championship was tighter than ever, and there is still the Rally of Sardinia and the Belgium, to finalize the tournament.

Evans leads the overall table with 97 points, ahead of Sebastien ogier, with 79 units. The current world champion, Ott Tânak from Estonia, it is third with 70. Kalle Rovanperâ equals Estonian and is fourth, while Thierry Neuville he is fifth with almost no chances of taking the title.
