Juventus informs that it will appear on the pitch despite the fact that Napoli did not travel to Turin

Serie A has not canceled or postponed the duel between Juventus and Napoli

Juventus, which also detected two members of the club’s staff (non-players) positive for coronavirus, published a brief statement in which it assures that the team will normally play the duel against Naples.

“Juventus Football Club announces that the first team will play tomorrow’s match (on Sunday) Juventus-Naples scheduled for 8:45 p.m., as established by the Serie A calendar,” the note reads.

Naples will not be able to travel to Turin to face Juventus this Sunday in the third day of Serie A, given the recent cases of contagion registered in the squad and personnel, the Neapolitan club reported this Saturday.

Naples registered in recent days the positive for coronavirus of the Pole Piotr Zielinski and the Macedonian Eljif Elmas, as well as a member of the staff, after being measured last Sunday with Genoa, a club that has subsequently discovered up to 22 cases of contagion.

The Neapolitan club, in accordance with the sanitary protocol of the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), has subjected its squad to three rounds of coronavirus tests this week, but the health center responsible for controlling the club has ordered this Saturday that everything the team remains in isolation.

In this context, it is likely that the Juventus-Naples match will be postponed, as happened with Genoa-Torino this Saturday, given the high number of positives from the Genoese team, although the Serie A League has not yet made official communications .
