Diego Schwartzman (14th) and Dominic Thiem (3rd) played the longest game of their careers at Roland Garros. The meeting, which lasted more than five hours, meant a new milestone for both.

On the Argentine side, the longest match in his career was at Wimbledon 2019, against Italian Matteo Berrettini. In that match for the third round, the Argentine could not beat the European who took the game 7-6 (5), 6-7 (2), 6-4, 6-7 (5) in a crossing that lasted 4 hours and 19 minutes.
