After his participation in the US Open, in which he finished in the T23 position, this week the Chilean golfer Joaquín Niemann (47th) returns to competition on the PGA Tour.
Starting this Thursday, he will play the important Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, a tournament that will be held in Las Vegas and that distributes 7 million dollars.
For this contest, Niemann will leave the first two days with a luxury group. He will be accompanied by Americans Webb Simpson (7th) and Collin Morikawa (5th), winner of the last edition of the PGA Championship. This Thursday he will start playing at 11:25 am and on Friday at 4:15 pm.
Who will be out is the American Tony Finau, 31, who tested positive in the PCR test prior to the start of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. This was confirmed by the organization of the circuit, in which Finau will not be able to participate.
Finau was one of the stars of the event that starts this Thursday, in which the Spanish Sergio García and Rafa Cabrera Bello will be present, as well as players of the level of Bryson DeChambeau or Francesco Molinari, who returns to the competition after several months absent.
