The first confrontation for the Bledisloe Cup it took place in Wellington. All Blacks Y Wallabies Sparks were drawn, the match had a lot of seasonings and lasted eight minutes longer than the regular time, left everyone with their hearts in their hands and ended 16-16.
At the end of the first half, the Australian Folau Fainga’a made a tremendous mistake that made the All Blacks generate a clear try play. Miraculously that movement did not end with the rival conquest.
The surprise for Fainga’a came later. Incredibly, Rieko Ioane the play was left over, he tried to support with one hand and the ball fell before reaching the try. That conquest would have put the All Blacks several points above which gave it a big difference over Australia. Then the duel ended tied.
The All Blacks recovered a spectacular ball that was destined for the Ingoal Wallabie, but the center was overconfident.
