After South Africa said that this Wednesday he would announce through Rassie Erasmus whether or not he plays the Rugby Championship 2020 beside Argentina, Australia and New Zealand; SANZAAR communicated that it will “provide an additional 48 hours” to define its situation.

“After a teleconference from the Executive Director of SANZAAR, Member Unions agreed to provide SA Rugby an additional 48 hours to finalize their internal discussions with stakeholders. This will now delay the scheduled departure of the Springboks to Australia, manifests the notification and adds: “SANZAAR will provide an update on the resolution of these discussions and a schedule for the Springboks participation in the Rugby Championship when available in the next few days“.

On the other hand, the entity stated that the matches between Australia and New Zealand on Saturday October 31 and November 7 at Sydney and Brisbanerespectively, they will not be affected and will go ahead as scheduled. Will there be changes for Los Pumas? Remember that The Argentine national team makes its debut in the Rugby Championship against the South Africans on November 7.
