The Argentine basketball player Leandro Bolmaro could continue his career in the NBA. The player of the Barcelona from Spain is followed by several franchises of the best league in the world and it would be one of the first options in the Draft which will take place on November 18.
In August Bolmaro renewed his contract with the Catalan club until the 2022-2023 season after being promoted to the first team and stated: “I will not go to the NBA now even if I am chosen in the first round of the next Draft, now I am focused on Barcelona, the NBA will come later, if it has to.”
However, the picture now seems to have changed. According to specialists, the 19-year-old base from Córdoba could be chosen in the first round of the Draft between positions 25 and 35.
Bolmaro is 2.03 meters tall and weighs 91 kilos. He began playing basketball at Club Almafuerte de Las Varillas, in his home province, and then went to Bahía Basket to play in the National Development League. He arrived at Barcelona in 2018. Now it seems that his next destination is in North America.
