Fischer was part of ‘Los Matadores’, nickname given to the undefeated champion team of the Metropolitan Tournament (the League) of 1968.
He is the club’s third historical scorer with 141 goals, behind José Sanfilippo (205) and Rinaldo Martino (142).
With San Lorenzo he also won the 1972 Metropolitan. In 1969 he was the top scorer in the local tournament together with Carlos Bulla, with 14 goals.
