The 13 players summoned by Mario Ledesma who play in Europe are already in Australian lands, but they must wait 14 days to join the rest of the team since they have to do a strict two-week isolation in Sydney. The UAR for its part negotiates to be able to discount one day and that the players join before, but today it does not appear as an option.
This Tuesday, those who were with the newcomers were the assistant coach Nicolás Fernández Miranda and the physical trainer and physiotherapist Rodolfo Broggi. The players who came to Australia are Juan Imhoff, Santiago Cordero, Ramiro Moyano, Nicolás Sánchez, Ignacio Calles, Facundo Bosch, Matías Alemanno, Guido Petti, Pablo Matera, Marcos Kremer, Facundo Isa, Francisco Gómez Kodela and Lucas Mensa.
The trip from Europe together was a relief to liven up the hours and did everyone good, as it took almost a day to reach the largest island in Oceania. The idea of the coaching staff is go from lowest to highest and of the 13 players, the one who still cannot train normally is Facundo Isa who recovers from a tear. The “foreigners” will only be able to go to train at the place where the Los Pumas squad used to do, the Leichhardt Oval in Sydney.
Those led by Ledesma now do so at the Sidney Academy of Sport and it is expected that the players after 14 days can join the rest of the squad that is already in Manly, north of Sydney. It is believed that on November 4 Mario Ledesma will have all the players at his disposal.
