The third date of Super Rugby Unlocked of South Africa It was completed with the overwhelming victory of the Bulls by 41 to 14 against the Sharks. The other match scheduled for Saturday between the Lions and the Cheetahs was called off due to a Covid 19 outbreak.
On Friday, Stormers came back from a tremendous game against Pumas, to emerge victorious 42-37.
BULLS 41-14 SHARKS (Saturday)
The Bulls showed all their offensive power in their 41-14 win against the Sharks. The Pretoria team won thanks to the tries of Stedman Gans (twice), Marco van Staden (twice), Embrose Papier and Marco Jansen Van Vuuren. In turn, Morné Steyn contributed five conversions and two penalties for the win. The Sharks had to settle for Dylan Richardson’s try and Curwin Bosch’s three penalties.
LIONS – CHEETAHS (Saturday)
The Super Rugby Unlocked match between the Lions and Cheetahs that was scheduled for this Saturday at Ellis Park in Johannesburg was suspended due to a Covid-19 outbreak in the Lions. The decision was made based on the precautions recommended by the South African National Institute for Communicable Diseases to limit increased risk in the community.
PUMAS 37-42 STORMERS (Friday)
