Six Nations and Autumn Nations Cup: England with confirmed roster

England will be chasing the Six Nations title next weekend when they play their final rescheduled match against Italy at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. For said match and also to face the Autumn Nations Cup, Eddie Jones announced a roster of 36 players.

Then, the selected one from La Rosa will return to English soil to start working for the new tournament since debuts Nov. 14 against Georgia at Twickenham. Subsequently, it will be the turn to play with Ireland (November 21) and Wales (November 28) before a qualifying match to determine the final position in the championship (December 6).

He roster includes seven Premiership finalists– Exeter Chiefs trio Jonny Hill, Henry Slade and Harry Williams, along with Joe Launchbury, Dan Robson, Jacob Umaga and Jack Willis from Wasps.

Luke Cowan-Dickie, Ali Crossdale, Courtney Lawes, Jack Nowell, Manu Tuilagi and Mark Wilson are unavailable due to injury. On the other hand, Elliot Daly, George Ford and Joe Marler will join the team.

“We have to do our best if we want to win the Six Nations. It was a difficult squad to choose and I know there are several disappointed players who are not. We have a good balance between experience and youth, “said Eddie Jones.
