In dialogue with the press, Anderson Silva showed that his intentions with UFC they are no longer the same, after a sale. The Brazilian (34-10 MMA, 17-6 UFC) remains in the leading Mixed Martial Arts company since 2006, so he knows practically everything that happens inside. He was able to appreciate how new fighters took over the company, in addition to the $ 4 billion sale from brothers Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta to Endeavor in 2016.
“I think the UFC changed for me when Lorenzo came out. Lorenzo tried to put inside UFC to the big family, and right now it’s completely different, but I keep fighting within the UFC because I have many friends and I feel the same family. But yes, of course a lot has changed when Lorenzo is not inside ”, was what the veteran fighter began saying, the one who with great merit managed to be one of the legends of MMA.
In turn, he also gave his opinion on the previous owners of the company, with whom he had another affection. “I think that Lorenzo and the Fertitta brothers, who were the owners of the UFC, the relationship with the fighters was closer, especially for me. I love Dana White, but Lorenzo and his brother were very close to the fighters and tried to make UFC fighters a part of the family of UFC«He added.
