Taking advantage of the fact that there will be no activity on the circuit this Friday, the different teams, together with their pilots, had the opportunity to tour the track to make their annotations. In addition, as usual every time you run in Imola, flowers are left in the Villeneuve Curve, in which Ratzenberger lost his life and in Tamburello, that of Senna’s fatal accident. Both curves changed their drawing after that date.
However, the most impressive tribute of the weekend could be lived by the tourists who are present in the streets of Imola. Despite the fact that the coronavirus pandemic does not allow the presence of the public at the Grand Prix, some fans came to the vicinity of the Italian circuit.
In one of the most touristic places in the city, an exciting tribute to the Brazilian idol was observed. As night fell, posters were lit up that ran along one of the main streets of the Emilia-Romagna region. These posters contained a historic phrase spoken by Senna.
