This Friday, Pierre Gasly showed the special design that he will wear at the Imola Grand Prix of Formula 1 this weekend. The Frenchman will have a helmet reminiscent of the historical one worn by Ayrton Senna, with a photo above his head that reads the legend ‘Ayrton Senna Semper’, in memory of the Brazilian star who lost his life on this circuit in 1994.
Gasly showed off his new helmet on social media. In addition, it seems that this protector gave him a lot of luck since in the only training session of the weekend, he finished in fourth position. “Remembering one of my idols with this special helmet. Legends are never forgotten, ”said Gasly.
