Atenas de Córdoba announced this morning that its first team will be present in the National Basketball League (LNB) which will begin -with a reduced format- tomorrow in Buenos Aires, after the death of its coach Osvaldo Arduh was known yesterday.
The Cordovan club cleared like this speculations that questioned the presence of the top winner of the Argentine contest, with nine LNB titles.
“By decision of Nicolás Arduh and as a tribute to the memory of his father, Osvaldo Arduh, the team will stay in Buenos Aires and face the competition. The team, on behalf of captain Leo Lema, also wants to pay tribute to him on the pitch “, the Greek club reported today in a statement.
