Nacho Fernández will miss some of River’s next commitments after confirming that he suffered a small tear in the anterior rectus of his left leg and it is speculated that he would arrive with just enough for the clash against Athlético Paranaense by CONMEBOL Libertadores.
Gustavo Yarroch on ESPN F360 released information on the severity of the injury suffered by River 10 and his recovery time.
The journalist pointed out that after the puncture he suffered in the match against the Drill, it became known that he suffers from a small tear in the anterior rectus of the left leg and that he would have between 17 and 21 days to be healthy again.
If it takes more than 20 days, the steering wheel may not be available for the match between Marcelo Gallardo’s team and Athlético Paranaense for the first leg of the second round of CONMEBOL Libertadores.
Further, Nacho will not be available for River’s matches for the Professional League Cup against Rosario Central at home and Godoy Cruz as a visitor.
