Diego schwartzman 7-5 and 6-3 to Richard Gasquet in the second round of the Masters 1000 in Paris. The Argentine was two wins away from qualifying for the 2020 ATP Finals.
Without Matteo Berrettini in the race, Schwartzman could qualify still losing to Spaniard Davidovich Fokina this Thursday if none of his three pursuers (Carreño Busta, Raonic and Wawrinka) wins the tournament.
But to achieve it no matter what happens to the rest, the Argentine needs a win against Davidovich Fokina and another victory in the quarterfinals. His rival there would be Daniil Medvedev, Lorenzo Sonego or Añex de Miñaur.
