For the second round of the Masters 1000 in Paris, Argentine Horacio Zeballos along with Colombian Robert Farah were eliminated after falling in three sets to Felix Auger-Aliassime and Hubert Hurkacz. It was 6-3, 3-6 and 10-6 for the pair made up of the Canadian and the Pole.
The South Americans, first seeded of the contest, they could not fulfill their role as favorites and quickly said goodbye to the tournament that is played in the French capital. Auger-Aliassime and Hurkacz will play in the quarterfinals against the Australian John peers and the New Zealander Michael Venus.
Was the first time that Zeballos and Farah formed a duo to play an ATP tournament, but there were two recent opportunities in which they shared the field as rivals: Davis Cup in this 2020 and the final of the US Open 2019.
