The front Sebastian Villa is pre-selected in the call of Miguel Ángel Russo for the visit of Boca Juniors to Newell’s in Rosario.
Diego Monroig reported in Sportscenter that the Colombian forward would be one step away to get among the names of those who will travel with the first xeneize team and who will be announced in the next few hours.
Earlier in the week, the ESPN journalist had reported that there was a rapprochement between Villa and his ex-partner Daniela Cortez, with whom he has an ongoing legal case. The club had spoken with an official statement, in which it ratified its commitment to institutional channels, but which opened the door to a hypothetical return of the player.
If Sebastián Villa gets some shooting this weekend, he could add points to be called up by Carlos Queiroz for the next double date of the South American Eliminatory with the Colombian National Team. The Boca forward is part of the preselection, but his place on the list has not yet been confirmed.
