Marcelo Díaz will undergo an arthroscopy for an injury to the external meniscus of his right knee and will no longer play in Racing this year.
The Avellaneda club reported this Friday about the procedure to which the Chilean will be subjected and thus confirmed the rumors about the relapse of the injury.
El Chelo suffered a meniscal syndrome again, which had already been operated on in the past with Coudet as coach, but the problem returned.
In social networks, Díaz regretted being low again with a message on his account Instagram: “It hurts me to announce this: I will have to operate on the meniscus in my right knee. I endured as much as I could for the commitment, for the respect and for the love I have for the club, for the fans, for the coaching staff, towards my teammates and towards all the people who work at Racing. But it is time to stop to take care of our health and to come back better. And today I only think about returning to the place where I am happiest “.
