Auger-Aliassime's first title came in the Paris-Bercy doubles

Felix Auger-Aliassime have negative balance in ATP finals: could not yet win his first professional title after six finals; That trend, however, was turned around in the doubles modality, where he achieved his first crown in his debut as a finalist in this Masters 1000 in Paris with the Polish Hubert hurkacz.

The pair made up of the Canadian and the Pole defeated the second-seeded Croatian in the final. Mate Pavic and Bruno Soares, by 6-7 (3), 7-6 (7) and 10-2.

Along the way, they also beat the first favorites, Horacio Zeballos and Colombian Robert Farah, New Zealander Michael Venus and the Australian John peers (7) and to Polish Lukas kubot and the Brazilian Marcelo melo (2) in the semifinals.

If there are no inconveniences, Auger-Aliassime will close the 2020 season at the ATP 250 in Sofia, which will be played from next week. Hurkacz, meanwhile, ended his calendar year.
