HOUSTON – Carlos Ortiz became the first Mexican champion on the PGA Tour in 42 years. The man from Guadalajara became champion at the Vivint Houston Open and also won his pass to the Augusta Masters 2021.
Ortiz threw a 267-stroke card to finish -13 under par and left Dustin Johnson, world number one golfer, who finished on -11, and Hideki Matsuyama, who also finished with -11 hits.
