However, in the last hours they confirmed a news that left many fans with their mouths open, due to the unexpectedness of the news. On the morning of this Tuesday, the category announced the calendar for the next season, but it was not the only one novelty.
This Monday, Formula 1 confirmed that it will launch a perfume series, inspired by single-seaters and racing-related moments. The product consists of four luxury packages, which contain totally surprising fragrances and are sold at exorbitant prices. The perfumes have already been put on sale from the announcement on social networks.
In addition to the news that the top-flight category will dabble in personal items, fans were surprised at the exaggerated amount of money they will have to shell out to get a small collectible jar. In the official store of the new collection, a bottle costs 225 euros (some $ 260).
Another issue that attracted attention was the design of the product. The jar that is sold has a very striking shape. Who developed this container, is the company Designer Parfums. On the other hand, they confirmed they are made with 3D printers, which are also used in the category for some elements of cars.
However, the category did not make the official presentation of the new product. This will be done in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which will be played from December 11 to 13 this season. The official sale will begin next year. In addition, the commercialization can already be acquired on the perfume’s website.
