The Argentine Basketball Confederation (CABB), in tune with the Association of Clubs (AdC), reported very good news. The National League, suspended days ago by the authorities of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, will return to official activity, after the completion of the windows of the Argentine National Team at the end of the month in Works.
Fabián Borro, president of CABB, and Matías Lammens, minister of Sports and Tourism, they held a meeting in which they agreed on a return “Under a new modality”, with stricter sanitary protocols and “Greater controls”.
The Ministry proceeded last Wednesday to the “Momentary suspension” of the League, based on the increasing number of infections in competing campuses, in addition to the delegations of arbitrators. The decision was based on “The lack of compliance with the conditions established by the National Health Authority”, based on the more than 40 positive cases announced by the so-called Competition Crisis Committee.
After the meeting held, it was determined that the National League will resume in December, after the qualifying windows for the AmeriCup 2022, in which Argentina will face Colombia (Friday, November 27) and Chile (Monday, November 30) and it will take place at the Templo del Rock stadium, owned by the Obras Basket club.
