Koolhof and Mektic crowned ATP Finals champions

Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic played a fantastic match to defeat the duo of Jurgen Melzer and Edouard Roger-Vasselin by 6-2, 3-6 and 10-5 to lift the trophy of the ATP Finals in London.

The duo between the Dutch and the Croat began with a solid first set win, in which they broke their rivals twice and they got a 92% first serve points.

Already in the second, the duo between the Austrian and the French raised their level achieving a great tennis that helped them to take the sleeve and go for everything in the third set.

In the final stretch of the meeting, Mektic and Koolhof they specified five aces (half of the points obtained) making his serves a fundamental weapon to lift the trophy in London. With this victory, they claimed their first trophy in the ATP Finals after having lost in the final of US Open 2020.
