Bautista Delguy is a new Bordeaux player

Burzaco’s roadrunner will take his speed to France. Finally, it was confirmed that Bautista Delguy will join Bordeaux until the end of the current season. The Bègles squad already have two Argentines: Santiago Cordero and Guido Petti.

Different French media had already made known their interest in incorporating the Argentine wing in their search for a medical joker, after Geoffrey Cros’ knee injury that will require a long recovery period, between 9 and 12 months.

Delguy joined Jaguares in 2018, played 22 matches of Super Rugby, of them 20 as a starter and scored 12 tries, all with the Argentine franchise. In his first season with the Jaguars, the Argentinean back scored 10 tries in 15 matches, before suffering an injury in 2019.

With the Argentine national team he has 16 international matches, and is currently participating in the Tres Nations with Los Pumas. He played his first World Cup in 2019 in Japan.
