Carlos Tevez gave one of the most iconic images in tributes to Diego Maradona, when he celebrated his goal in Boca Juniors’ triumph against Inter, for CONMEBOL Libertadores, with a shirt that the idol himself wore in 1981 and gave him.
This Wednesday, Carlitos used his social networks to leave a message for his dear friend.
“Any tribute that I can make to you will always be a small thing because of how great you are! This photo reflects that I still do not fall that you are no longer with us. I point to the sky but my gaze is down. But I also know that from where you are, you give me strength to continue. I don’t know if I can measure up, but of one thing I am sure: I will leave my heart to make you happy! I miss you friend”, published Apache on his official Twitter account.

Tevez revealed that he had Diego’s jacket in a box and had to tear it up to wear the jersey to honor the 10th in both in Brazil.
Also, Today Dalma Maradona thanked him for the gesture and told him that he is part of the family, which highlights the great relationship and affection that existed between Tevez and Maradona.
