(EFE) – Defensa y Justicia entered the quarterfinals of the Copa Sudamericana, a phase in which they will collide with Bahía, by defeating Vasco da Gama 1-0 as a visitor.

Defense and Justice had given up 1-1 at home the previous week and today they achieved their first victory in Brazilian territory, which they will have to visit again to face Bahia in Salvador. The only goal of the match was scored by Gabriel Hachen.

One minute from the end, Vasco had another chance to equalize with a header from Colombian Gustavo Torres that was defended by Unsaín. Later, in the aftermath, Neto Borges and Juninho were also about to celebrate, but the Argentines endured and signed their classification.
