After a year in which only 352 games have been played, the lowest figure in a calendar year since 1987, due to the pandemic (1,082 were played in 2019), the Red Devils’, who won six of their eight games, remain at the top ahead of France, Brazil and England.
Portugal rises to fifth place and precedes Spain and Argentina, which rose two places compared to the previous year, unlike Uruguay, which fell to eighth placea, while Mexico (9th) and Italy (10th) reach the ‘top 10’.
Hungary experiences the best progression of the year, climbing twelve places and settling in the fortieth, while Ecuador also improves and is in plaza 56.
