ROME (EFE) – A double by Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo and a goal by Spanish Álvaro Morata gave Juventus a solid 4-0 victory this Saturday in their visit to Parma, on the twelfth day of the Italian Serie A.
After last Wednesday’s draw against Atalanta (1-1), in which Cristiano missed a penalty, the Portuguese striker was again decisive with his goals for Juventus by Andrea Pirlo, who was momentarily just one point away of the leader Milan.
At the Tardini stadium in Parma, Swede Dejan Kulusevski broke the equality in the 23rd with an excellent left-footed shot to low center by Brazilian Álex Sandro and from that moment on, Cristiano appeared.
Just three minutes later, CR7 scored a goal from Morata to the center and, already at the restart, completed his double with a powerful left-foot cross. The Portuguese is already the top solo striker in Serie A, with two goals clear of the Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Milan.
Morata was in charge of sentencing the duel in 86, with a perfect header to the center from Brazilian Danilo Luiz da Silva. For the former Real Madrid, Chelsea or Atlético Madrid player, it was the tenth goal of the season, between Serie A (4) and the Champions League (6).
Authoritarian performance for Juventus, which also started the veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, 42, who made a great save in the first half from the Slovakian Juraj Kucka.
