Manchester City forward Sergio Agüero will be under Barcelona’s radar when he becomes a free agent next summer, according to The Sun.
Aguero, 32, is in the final six months of his contract with City and has yet to close a new deal, which means he is free to enter into talks with clubs outside of England.
Although this season has been plagued with injuries, he remains one of the best forwards in the sport and Barcelona could be looking for a short-term replacement for Lionel Messi if the Argentine international makes good on his threat to leave the Camp Nou when his contract expires in 2021.
Aguero’s £ 240k a week salary could be a downside, while PSG has shown interest as well. The forward has always said that he wants to return to the Argentine club Independiente to finish his career, but he may still have a few more years left at the top of European football.
