The stage of definitions of the Dakar Rally 2021. The most difficult race in the world reached stage 11 of this edition with well-defined candidates. However, the main drivers were able to overcome the challenge.
Although the winner of the test was not one of those who have been fighting for the top of the general times table, Stéphane Peterhansel still firmly in the first place. The Frenchman remained in third place in the test on Wednesday and did not lose significant time with his main rival, the Qatari Nasser Al-Attiyah, who finished second on the stage.
The winner of stage 10 of the race was the Saudi Yazeed Al-Rajhi, that with his Toyota and his german co-pilot Dirk Von Zitzewitz They took two minutes ahead of Al-Attiyah. Peterhansel, who was third, only lost 49 seconds to the Olympic Medalist. In fourth place the Spanish finished, Carlos Sainz, who again had navigation problems.

The Spaniard was more than an hour behind the leaders of the general table.

The Olympic medalist chases Peterhansel 17 minutes. To close the podium of the category, the Spanish Carlos Sainz is 1h 03m behind the French.
